The aim of the conference was to stimulate discussions on the future of formal and non-formal language teaching, as well as to promote cooperation and better understanding between the Latvian and Lithuanian communities. A wide range of topics were explored, including the unique aspects of language education in Latvia and Lithuania, achievements in the field, experiences, and school leadership in phasing out Russian language teaching.
